Breaking news: Senior Cup draw

Hastings United have received a home tie in this morning’s (Tuesday) Sussex Senior Cup draw.

After receiving a bye through round one, the Ryman League Premier Division outfit will host Sussex County League opposition in the form of Pagham or Rustington in round two.

There is also the possibility of a local derby in round two if Bexhill United and Sidley United can win their respective first round ties.

Like Bexhill, Sidley and Westfield, Rye United - who missed out on receiving a bye into round two by one place in last season’s final standings - are away from home in round one.

Selected Sussex Senior Cup ties - 1st round: LITTLE COMMON v Crowborough Athletic; Ringmer v RYE UNITED; Horsham YMCA v BEXHILL UNITED; Littlehampton Town v WESTFIELD; Loxwood v SIDLEY UNITED.

2nd round: Horsham YMCA or BEXHILL UNITED v Loxwood or SIDLEY UNITED; Southwick or Wick v LITTLE COMMON or Crowborough Athletic; HASTINGS UNITED v Pagham or Rustington; Burgess Hill Town v Ringmer or RYE UNITED; Saltdean United or Newhaven v Littlehampton Town or WESTFIELD.
