Not only will Albion continue their bid to pull away from the relegation places, they will do so against their fiercest rivals Crystal Palace.

Albion will go into the match with their morale boosted following a battling point at Sheffield United last Saturday. It was not always pretty at Bramall Lane but it was a determined and physical effort from Graham Potter's men and one that showed they are ready to fight with all they have to stay in this division.

Matches against Palace tend to be an intriguing and well-fought contest. They have had some classic showdowns over the seasons and the match dubbed the 'M23 derby' is always eagerly anticipated by the fans.

Despite last Saturday's point, Albion remain too close to the drop. They are four points away from danger with 11 matches remaining and a win against Palace would be a welcome boost. Potter's men are yet to record a victory or a clean sheet in 2020.

Roy Hodgson's men are in a solid mid-table position with 33 points from 27 matches, five points above Brighton and nine above the relegation places. Palace recorded a first Premier League win of 2020 against Newcastle last Saturday. Patrick van Aanholt scored the only goal of the game at Selhurst Park as Palace ended a three-game losing streak.

Earlier this season in December, the two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park. Neal Maupay opened the scoring with fine finish but Palace claimed a point thanks to a leveller from their danger man Wilfried Zaha.
