Brighton edged a point closer to Premier League safety after holding Champions League-chasing Chelsea to a goalless draw.

The pre-match build-up was dominated by the latest news surrounding the European Super League proposals but Albion stayed professional and earned a creditable point.

However, their wait for a goal at Stamford Bridge goes on after Danny Welbeck hit the post late on with an excellent curling effort, whilst substitute Adam Lallana missed a golden one-on-one chance.
