Graham Potter's Brighton were excellent from start to finish and recorded their third Premier League win four matches to lift them up to 15th and away from the relegation zone.
The all important goal arrived on 56 minutes as Solly March delivered a ball to the far post and Dan Burn did superbly to head the ball back into the danger zone and Steven Alzate finished off for his first goal in the Premier League for Brighton.
Brighton were the better team and almost made it two when Pascal Gross forced a fine low save from Kelleher.

Steven Alzate is congratulated by his teammates after his goal against Liverpool
. Robert Sanchez 8/10
Another very calm and composed performance form the Spaniard. Commanded his box well and defenders just loved seeing him claim that corner at the end
. Ben White 7/10
The ever versitile defender played at right back and did well against the tricky and physical Shaqiri. defended well and looked to join the attack when he could
. Lewis Dunk 7/10
Easy to take Dunk for granted because he's consistently so good. Plenty of important blocks, calm under pressure and helped nullify the attacking threat
