The 16-year-old left AFC Wimbledon to join the National League South side’s academy six months ago, and according to Surrey Live, interest is coming from higher up the pyramid.
Brighton are just one of a number of Premier League and EFL clubs keen on Allen, though it is the Seagulls who have made the first move.
“Olly has really flourished since joining us and has caught the eye of several Football League and Premier League clubs,” said White
"He comes from a footballing family. His dad is Steve Allen, a former professional footballer turned physio, who was also briefly assistant manager of Portsmouth.
"Olly is an attacking midfielder, who has an eye for goal. He is a good size for his age and has been training with the first team for the past month and has impressed in friendlies for us during that time.
"That will be rewarded with a National League contract soon but at the minute he’s training with Brighton.
"We’ve had loads of interest but we don’t want to farm him out all over the place. Brighton are obviously a Premier League club and one we have close links with so we were happy for him to go there for a trial.
"It’s a credit to him for his hard work and the Wanderers academy, for what they’ve done with him. I really do think he has a bright future ahead of him, whether that’s with Wanderers or higher up the pyramid."
