Brighton & Hove Albion today confirmed that left-back Bernado will spend the rest of the campaign on loan with reigning Austrian champions RB Salzburg, subject to international clearance.

The move sees the Brazilian defender returns to the club where he spent the second half of the 2015/16 season and who currently sit top of the table.

@connorwhiten_: People didn’t rate him but he was actually decent tbh but never got used.”

@nicsbha: "Good player but inconsistent.”

@Bhafc1995: “Bernardo is useless glad he's gone!”

@toomuchtrossard: “Was just starting to impress me again.”

@EnglandsBestCB: “I think a lot of our fans forget how good Bernardo was under Hughton, was genuinely an extremely good LB always put in 7 or 8/10 performances every game, shame he was never the same post-injury, just couldn’t get back into the team, good luck tho Bernardo! Go smash it!”

@mingman51: “He is not quite up to the standard what is required in a very competitive Premier league!!!”

@brettbrighton: “Announce Caciedo.”

@bhanoah: “Good luck Bernardo.”
