Albion head coach Graham Potter is known for making changes but this line-up to face Fulham seems to have surprised and delighted in equal measure.

The main talking point was the switch between the sticks and Potter also made changes in defence, midfield and attack as they look to improve on their poor showing at the King Power.

It's a vital match for Brighton as they are 16th in the table with just 10 points from 12 matches.

Fulham are also struggling at the wrong end of the table but Scott Parker's team have improved of late with four points from their last two.

Victory for Fulham tonight would see them leap frog Albion and drag Graham Potter's men further into the relegation scrap.

The Albion faithful seemed pleased to see goalkeeper Robert Sanchez in for Maty Ryan and Steven Alzate starting once again for the first time since Everton, alongside the returning Adam Lallana

Brighton fans were largely impressed with the changes and here's how they reacted on social media:

@ryanadsett: Well, it’s different. But in a very good way IMO. Great line up. Let’s hope they can prove it on the pitch. UTA.

@Brightonfan: Lallana and Alzate, the two of our most creative midfielders together! . #bhafc

@Joe_McNamara33: Maybe potter does read twitter #bhafc

@MattyL_B: Nobody can blame potter tonight. Pretty much every player other than Ali.J on the pitch that fans have called for.

@daveymark15: Will Sanchez now get a run of games or will it be in for one then out again #bhafc

@bhafcbreaking: This is what they fans wanted. Will we be proved right? #bhafc

@yorker129_7: Pleased to see Ryan taken out of the firing line. Still unquestionably our best keeper when on top form, but he's looked jittery and under pressure. Let him take some time out and get himself together, and give Sanchez a run. #bhafc

@Webdini15: Holy smoke that is our best team. Let's get it boys #bhafc

@MattyL_B: Odds on Lallana going off injured? #bhafc #FULBHA

@D124Orbit: Love this line up! Shame for Maty. This could be the morale boosting game he needs! (Could being the operative word). #BHAFC

@louisehersee: Ooh, it’s a Lookman v Lamptey night tonight! #FULBHA #BHAFC #UTA

@Brightonfan: Sanchez in goal for Ryan, is a positive start and was a no brainer after Sunday. Plus having Lallana back especially alongside Alzate, is a massive confidence booster for us. #bhafc
