How Brighton and Hove Albion are expected to line-up against Espanyol in their final pre-season friendly before playing Manchester United in their Premier League curtain raiser next weekend

Brighton and Hove Albion wrap up their pre-season preparations against Spanish outfit Espanyol tomorrow (July 30) at the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls have only lost one of their four pre-season games so far – suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat at home against fellow Premier League side Brentford on Tuesday.

Albion boss Graham Potter is expected to make changes to his side as he takes one final look at his options before their opening league fixture next weekend.

The south coast club start their Premier League season against Manchester United on August 7 at Old Trafford.

Their opponents Espanyol made a positive start to their pre-season earlier this month, securing 2-0 wins against French outfits Montpellier and Lille either side of a goalless draw with Las Palmas.

The La Liga side have then gone on to lose their first game of the summer against Spanish third division side Linense.

Under new boss Diego Martinez, the Parakeets are looking to avoid second-season syndrome, following last term's 14th-placed finish in their first year back in the Spanish top flight.
