Brighton and Hove Albion head coach Graham Potter
. Watford 0-3 Brighton
With new manager Graham Potter at the helm, getting off to a flying start was key and Albion did that in style with a thumping 3-0 win at Watford. Neal Maupay netted the first of his successful season with Florin Andone also on target.
. Brighton 0-2 Southampton
Something good came from something bad. The red card for Andone played a huge role in this defeat and the Romanian departed for Turkey soon after. Aaron Connolly was promoted up the pecking order to signal a fresh and more youthful approach from Albion.
. Brighton 3-0 Tottenham
The highlight of the season for many. Albion had just been outplayed in a 2-0 loss at Chelsea and despite encouraging displays against Burnley, West Ham and Newcastle, Albion hadn't won since Watford. Connolly's two sublime goals and Maupay's opener were decisive as Potter's team delivered a complete performance
. Brighton 3-2 Everton
This was quite the tussle and Brighton came out on top thanks to a last minute OG by Lucas Digne. Pascal Gross also scored a cracking freekick and Maupay netted from the spot after Connolly caused problems for Everton's Michael Keane. A huge three points and great to see the mild-mannered Potter celebrate wildly at the end.
