Premier League, EFL fixtures and FA Women's Super League and Women's Championship have been postponed. Here's how some Brighton fans reacted to the news on social media.

Chris Ward @yorker129_7 I'll be honest, I'm a bit relieved #BHAFC game has been called off tomorrow. I know people in at risk categories and while I was planning to keep away from them for a week after the game I was still unsure. Pleased that decision has been taken away from me TBH.

@MikeKing14 Only cancelled one #BHAFC game too as it is, so not too bad. Can imagine it will go on for longer though!

NorthStandChap. @marco8981 Be the most Brighton thing ever if the last game we see this season (and potentially in the Premier League) is us losing to Palace at home. #BHAFC

North Stand Chat @NorthStandChat If the current season is now cancelled.... We've played our last match in the green alternative shirt..We paid around £500,000 for Mac Allister to play 10min of a match. We won't win our first game of 2020 until ???

Tony Cooney @tonymgc As bad as it is having no football I'd rather have no football than my mates get sick #BHAFC

DadMan @DadManTalk Anyone’s else’s plans suddenly changed for this Saturday?! Get well soon Mikel Arteta @Arsenal

Lewis Dunk Era @EnglandsBestCB Just as we started playing well, Corona has to come along and put an end to our season #bhafc

BHAseagulls.com @BHAseagulls_com "We are in a pandemic, there are countries on lockdown, things haven't happened like this since the Second World War" Graham Potter on the current situation in the Premier League. #BHAFC

Bez @Bracknellbez End the season now. Place teams in the order of their average league position and that’s the final table.

Sam Wilson @MrSamWilson With the season running late, how does it work with long-term loan deals? Will they all automatically extend or could parent clubs decide not to? Could Brighton, for example, suddenly have Andone, Knockaert and Ben White for the run-in? #BHAFC

Rob @robfca11 So a 3 week suspension of the Premier League will end when we catch up with Italy. #bhafc. There will be no medical/police resource available for ManU game!!

@BHAseagulls_com The Brighton hierarchy are said to be particularly worried about Maty Ryan over the Coronavirus outbreak as he catches pretty much everything. #BHAFC

The Tweeting Seagull @TweetingSeagull Glad #bhafc game cancelled. Especially with shortage of hand washing facilities at AMEX in main stands’ toilets, where I often see many leave without washing their hands. We’re instructed to change our behaviours, maybe @OfficialBHAFC need more sinks installed for next season?
