Hide AdAlbion currently sit level on points with 18th-placed Fulham and are only above the dreaded drop zone on goal difference with just one top-flight home win this campaign.
It's an experienced Brighton line-up for what Potter said will be one of the most "intense" Premier League fixtures they will face this season.
Some fans were surprised to see Leandro Trossard in the line-up after he struggled against Leicester while others wanted Polish international Karbownik in ahead of Dan Burn.

@ryanadsett: All possession and no goals again then? Nice
@BHAFC_Sonny: Happy to see welbeck but it’s the same stuff every time
@Sir_Kutwana: Tau always on the bench, Why don't you loan him to lower league or send him back to Pro leag1

@henryhadow: This is a winning team. Mark my words!
@SteveRoss66: Maupay and Trossard again! Both out if touch. Can Potter not see we need to change something?
@TomWaring145: Decent little team, good attacking intent, would have liked alzate/karbownik instead of burn but I understand why he’s gone for Burn. BIG GAME THIS UTA #bhafc

@MJSowerby: Is Izqueirdo actually fit enough to take part? #bhafc
@TomWaring145: Leandro Trossard masterclass incoming.
@TweetingSeagull: I’m confident that the club are right in their belief that Graham Potter is the person that gives us the best chance to remain in the topflight. He has the required temperament to see us through these difficult patches & over the line
