Brighton produced a poor display at the King Power last Sunday as a brace from James Maddison and a nice finish from Jamie Vardy sealed a miserable defeat for Graham Potter's team.

Brighton are 16th in the Premier League table with just 10 points from 12 matches and are in the thick of a developing relegation battle.

Fulham are also struggling at the wrong end with eight points but Scott Parker's team will be on a high following their morale boosting 1-1 draw with champions Liverpool last time out.

Parker also confirmed that their Serbian star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is fit and back in the Fulham squad having trained well over the last two days.

Brighton will hope to welcome back Tariq Lamptey (hamstring), Adam Webster (groin) and Adam Lallana (groin). All three missed the defeat at Leicester and their return would boost Potter's options in both defence an attack.

The Albion head coach refused to label this clash as a relegation six-pointer but players, fans and pundits are all aware of the significance for this one.

"If it wasn’t for a late penalty; Fulham may have taken all three points at home to Liverpool on Sunday," wrote Owen in his Betvictor predictions blog.

"Nevertheless, it was a great result and Cottagers fans will be hoping it could be the springboard to a good run of form.

"Leicester were comfortable winners against Brighton on Monday. It was the poorest I’ve seen the Seagulls this season, however, I do feel they will fare better here.

"Both these sides have been involved in a few high scoring matches this season and I think this could be the case again with both sides sharing the points witha 2-2 draw."
