Goals from Leandro Trossard, Danny Welbeck and Neal Maupay sealed a vital victory at home to a relegation rival – extending Graham Potter’s side’s advantage over the bottom three to six points.
But off the pitch, transfer speculation is never too far away, in particular the future of midfield general Yves Bissouma.
And according to the Daily Mirror, Leicester City are ready to rival Arsenal for the 24-year-old at the end of the season.
The agent of Bissouma confirmed the Gunners were interested in his client, who is a boyhood Arsenal fan.
But with Champions League football on the horizon for the Foxes, Brendan Rodgers is hoping to attract the Mali international to the King Power Stadium.
Potter said in January that Brighton must enjoy Bissouma while they can. He said: “The best Bissouma can play in the Champions League, absolutely.
"He’s bought that high quality, these attributes you want at that stage. It’s about being constant.”
Bissouma has two years left on his Albion contract after signing from French side Lille for £15million in 2018.
