Rangers and Everton target confirms Brighton exit as Seagulls plot £30m Arsenal raid
Rangers could reignite their interest in Brighton midfielder Steven Alzate this summer as the 25-year-old will leave Albion when his contract expires at the end of June.

Hide AdAlzate joined Albion in 2017 from Leyton Orient and made 72 appearances for the club in all competitions including 52 starts. For the last two seasons he has been on loan with Standard Liege in Belgium and played 47 times for them in all competitions.
Rangers were previously linked with the Colombia international and the door is now open for the Glasgow club to follow-up as part of Philippe Clement's rebuild. Everton and Wolves were also reportedly keen on Alzate in the past, who broke through at Brighton under the guidance of former coach Graham Potter.
Meanwhile, Brighton are said to be tracking Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, who has made just three Premier League starts in two years. Smith Rowe is keen to kick-start his career elsewhere and the Gunners have reportedly stated they will not stand in the way of the 23-year-old. It is thought they will want will want around £30m for their homegrown talent.
Brentford, Wolves and Fulham are also said to be tracking the situation of the three-cap England man.
