Graham Potter’s men have been involved in their fair share of spot kick incidents in 2020/21, the most memorable of which was probably the late VAR drama that handed them the opportunity to equalise in their 1-1 draw with Liverpool back in November.
Including that goal, Albion have scored five goals from the spot in 2020/21 – the fourth-highest tally in the division.
At the other end, the Seagulls have conceded eight fouls in the area.
That tally is the Premier League’s highest, and is made worse by the fact that their opponents have scored six of those set-pieces.
