Albion suffered a late defeat at the hands of bitter rivals Crystal Palace on Monday evening, and will be looking to bounce back with three points that would massively alleviate their relegation worries.

For their part, West Brom kept a first clean sheet under Sam Alladyce in their 0-0 stalemate with Burnley last weekend, but haven’t won a game in the top flight since they beat Wolves 3-2 back in mid-January.

The Seagulls will have earmarked this game as a winnable fixture, and with that in mind, Potter has kept largely the same side that looked to have the better of Palace for most of Monday’s match before Christian Benteke’s late goal deflated them.

Aaron Connolly comes back into the side, with Steven Alzate dropping to the bench.

There is no place in the squad for Tariq Lamptey, despite Potter suggesting earlier in the week that the full-back was nearing a return to action.
