West Ham 'lining up' bid for £10m-rated Brighton defender who worked with David Moyes at Everton

The Irishman made 19 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls this season, scoring one goal in the process.

And Hammers boss Moyes knows the Brighton star well, having worked with the 28-year-old during their time together at Everton.

A report in The Mirror suggests the defender will cost the London club around £10 million.

But Frank Lampard’s Chelsea are also eyeing a deal for Brighton’s £30m-rated centre back Lewis Dunk, with Leeds United interested in securing the services of Ben White, who plays in the same position as Dunk and Duffy.

Seagulls boss Graham Potter is unlikely to sanction the departure of three senior defenders at once – and has spoken of his desire to keep White in particular at the club.
