Albion remain 13th in the Premier League table but are now 11 points clear of the bottom three. Everton are tenth, two points better off than the Seagulls.

First Premier League appearance. Claimed early cross well to settle any nerves. Superbly denied Richarlison in the first half and pushed another shot from the Everton striker on to a post in the second period.
Lively throughout and defended well down the right. Handled the threat of Digne and Bernard well.
Dominant in the air when Albion defended set-pieces against the club where he began his career. At the halfway stage of the campaign is right in the running for Brighton's player of the season.
Superb in the centre of defence alongside Duffy. Back in the team after serving one-game ban. Good battle with Richarlison. Sponsor's man of the match.
Defended well up against Walcott. Improving game by game at left-back.
Few opportunities to run at the Everton defence in the first half. Excellent ball from the right set Locadia away down the left at the start of the second period. Had to be on top of his game defensively.
Lots of neat touches, always comfortable on the ball in middle of the park. Wonderful turn to get away from Mina early in the second half.
Tidy in possession and broke play up. Sent one lovely crossfield pass to Bernardo late in the first half.
Always a threat from set-pieces. Had a dangerous low cross pushed away by Pickford with Andone waiting to tap home. A few other passes didn't find their intended place in opening quarter of the game. Corner led to Albion's goal.
Third successive start for the Dutch forward. Scored the equaliser against Arsenal on Boxing Day. Early goalbound shot blocked by Mina. Scored when Gross's corner went back to him off Gomes.
Livewire, full of running up front. Shot blocked for a corner by Zouma at the start of the second half. Header superbly saved by Pickford. Subbed.
Came on for Andone with 16 minutes left. Goalbound shot headed away by Keane.
Alert to push away dangerous Gross delivery, with Andone ready to pounce early on. Brilliantly pushed over Andone's close-range header in the second half. No chance with Locadia's goal.
Looked to get forward whenever possible down the right. Effort blocked after Button denied Richarlison in the first half.
Superbly blocked goalbound Locadia shot and denied Propper shooting opportunity later in the first half. Booked for a foul on Bernardo just before the hour and subbed soon afterwards.
Everton's best defender on the day. Headed early opportunity wide when unmarked at the back post. Defended well against Andone when Brighton's striker looked to break away. Blocked Murray's goalbound shot late on.
Solid at the back for the visitors playing in a three-man central defence with Mina and Keane. Excellent covering block to divert Andone shot over. Headed Sigurdsson free kick against the bar late on.
Worked up and down the left from his wing-back role. Also a threat at set-pieces, with late free kick blocked by the Brighton wall.
Pacy wideman struggled to get into the game.
Comfortable on the ball and looked to spread play. Inadvertently set-up Locadia for Brighton's goal. Subbed.
Hard-working display in the middle of the ball. Deflected shot saved by Button on the half-hour.
Dangerous delivery headed wide by Keane early on. Lost his cool at March when Albion's winger carried on playing with Richarlison down injured and was booked. Sent a shot out for a throw as Everton chased the game. Subbed.
Scored twice against Albion at Goodison Park in November. Went close just before the half-hour when Button pushed away his fierce strike. Had an effort diverted on to a post by Button just after Brighton went ahead.
Sent on after 64 minutes for Mina. Almost set up the equaliser when Zouma headed his inswinging free kick against the bar.
Replaced Gomes on 72 minutes but had little impact.
Sent on for last ten minutes. Low shot saved by Button in injury-time.
