The Seagulls are the only club in the Football League not to win a game this year and host a Terriers side who are bottom of the Premier League and 11 points from safety.

Albion won 2-1 away to Huddersfield earlier in the season. Mathias Jorgensen put the Terriers ahead inside a minute, before Steve Mounie was sent off for a foul on Yves Bissouma.

Brighton made the one-man advantage count as goals from Shane Duffy and Florin Andone sealed all three points.

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION

Florin Andone, who got the winner at Huddersfield earlier this season, is back available after serving a three-game suspension.

Midfielder Pascal Gross will miss out with the hamstring injury he sustained at Leicester on Tuesday and joins defender Leon Balogun on the sidelines. Yves Bissouma is the most likely candidate to replace Gross if Seagulls boss Chris Hughton goes for a 4-3-3 formation.

Jose Izquierdo returned to action after just three months out in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Leicester and will hope to return to the starting line-up in the next week or two.

Bruno and Bernardo will be pushing Martin Montoya and Gaetan Bong in the full-back positions, while forward Jurgen Locadia will be targeting a return to the starting line-up.

Likely line-up: Ryan; Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Bernardo; Stephens, Propper, Bissouma; Knockaert, Murray, March. Subs (from): Button, Bruno, Burn, Bong, Kayal, Locadia, Jahanbakhsh, Andone, Gyokeres.

HUDDERSFIELD

Jan Siewert claimed his first win as Terriers boss when they beat Wolves 1-0 on Tuesday.

He afterwards said Huddersfield still have a chance of Premier League survival, so will be viewing Saturday's match as a game the Terriers need three points from.

Karlan Grant made his first start for the Terriers against Wolves, while Alex Pritchard and Erik Durm were both fit to play.

Isaac Mbenza, Danny Williams and Adama Diakhaby all missed Tuesday's match, while Australian midfielder Aaron Mooy was on the bench and came on late in the game.

Demeaco Duhaney went off at half-time in the win over Wolves with what Siewert called 'small problems but hopefully not an injury'. Juninho Bacuna went on in his place.

Full-back Tommy Smith is suspended at the weekend after his red card at Newcastle last week.
