The Socceroos lost in the quarter-finals to the United Arab Emirates last week and Ryan has now joined back up with the Albion squad.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton admits he has a decision to make in goal, after David Button impressed between the sticks while Ryan was away.

He said: "I haven't named the team for tomorrow yet, and I have a decision to make now in the goalkeeping position.

"Maty Ryan trained yesterday and he will do again today - he's fine and fit.

"David Button has come in and done very well and taken his chance."

Brighton will still be without injured duo Jose Izquierdo (knee) and Bernardo (hamstring) for the game. They have missed the last ten and four matches respectively.

Brazilian left-back Bernardo is closing on a return to action and Hughton said: "Bernardo is very close to being back fit - we anticipate he'll train on Thursday.

"He's done good rehab work and made a good recovery - it's about when we feel he's ready for matches."

Winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh is still with Iran at the Asian Cup. They play their semi-final against Japan this afternoon.
