Brighton striker Murray shocked by Knockaert's winning goal at Crystal Palace


Knockaert scored the winner in the Premier League match with a stunning 20-yard strike into the far top corner after 73 minutes.
It gave the Seagulls a 2-1 victory after Murray's opener had been cancelled out by Luka Milivojevic's penalty.

Hide AdAsked about Knockaert's winner on Sky Sports after the game, Murray said: "I've seen him do that a number of times in training and it always misses the target to be fair.
"When it came off I was quite shocked but it was a superb finish and a goal worthy of winning any game.
"It's a huge result for us. We've come off the back of some poor form and got a crucial win last weekend and to back it up this week with three points is big for us."
Murray came into the starting line-up as a late replacement for the injured Florin Andone, having originally been named on the bench.

Hide AdHe said: "I wasn't meant to be starting today. Unfortunately for Florin five minutes before kick-off he felt his groin a little bit so I got drafted in late and it was nice to get a goal."
Murray's goal was his 100th in the league across his two spells with the Seagulls but he said: "Things like that don't bother me yet, it's something to look back on. I just like to get three points."
