Broadbridge Heath find their mojo against Steyning

A brace by Tim Martin plus goals by Ollie Moore and an own goal sealed a resounding return to form for Broadbridge Heath with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday night.

For home side Steyning it was a game too many after the fixture build-up due to postponed games and forced an end to their superb recent run.

Heath boss Steve Painter admitted he was releaved to end an inconsistent spell.

Painter said: “We haven’t been playing too well recently with a few injuries to key players. Tonight was all about showing character.

“I said before the game we had to show some passion over the next three games. We can forget about the cup final for now - we need to finish as high as we can in the league.
