Hide AdYM manager Peter Buckland was sent off by referee James Harding for his remonstrations following the spot kick, and then confronted the officials on the pitch
after the final whistle.
Boss Buckland fumed: “I’m very emotive at the moment. It’s not because of the result, because it’s quite clear that we were the better side who wanted to play football, but because of the added time.
“The referee wasn’t actually too bad until he lost it in the last quarter of an hour. I just don’t know where he got 14 minutes stoppage time from? It’s unbelievable. Idon’t think I’ve ever been involved in a game of football where 14 minutes have been added on. And then he gave a penalty that wasn’t a penalty.

“He sent me off after he gave the penalty, so I’ve said that we’ll have a hearing. We’ll take it up with the FA, end of.”
In a game of few clear-cut chances YM made a bright start, striker Martin Smith nodding just over from a long Ashley Dugdale throw-in, before defender Matt Crane also headed the wrong side of the upright moments later.

The second period featured even fewer chances than the first, as more players’ names were recorded in the referee’s book than there were shots on goal. Crane fired another header wide of the mark, before YM lost both goalkeeper Paul Williams
and Scott Wason to serious looking injuries.
in the 11th minute of stoppage time, a Dorking shot struck a YM arm in the penalty area and the referee’s whistle finally sounded, as he unbelievably pointed to the spot. Sean Bradley stepped up to convert the spot kick, and tempestuous scenes erupted from both dugouts.
