Bugiel, who has played in midfield and up front this season, was in sparkling form in centre midfield when Worthing thrashed Hythe 7-0 in the semi-finals on Tuesday.

His two goals moved him on to 22 for the season and he cannot now wait for tomorrow’s match.

He said: “It will be brilliant. The first thing will be training and recovery and then we’ll be ready.

“We’re going to prepare properly for Faversham and will give it everything.”

A bumper crowd of 948 watched the Hythe match and Bugiel said: “The support we get now is brilliant. Last year, we had around 250 people down here every week but now we’re doing well and people are starting to notice.

“Everyone is coming together and that’s what we need.

“Fair play to George (Dowell) as well, without him we wouldn’t be here. He trusts us as players because we’ve been together for two seasons.”

Bugiel also praised the team spirit at the club and said: “It’s massive, before the games, during the games and after the games. We’re all friends and we all want to play football together but good football.

“We’re a young team and no one expected us to win the league as there’s big teams spending big money. We’re full of young players and this season has been brilliant, we’re all enjoying it and just need to keep going.”

Rebels host Faversham in the play-off final tomorrow, with a 3pm kick-off.
