All U16’s are being invited to become a ‘Junior Hillian’. BHTFC Commercial Manager Russ Rego commented “for the past 3 seasons we have welcomed all U18’s supporters to The Green Elephants Stadium, Leylands Park with our ‘kids go free’ initiative. With the support of McDonald’s we are delighted to expand on this and encourage our younger supporters to really feel part of the club by becoming a ‘Junior Hillian’. We are working very hard to place the Football Club at the centre of the local community. We want the people of the town to feel part of what we are trying to do, and we feel the best place to start this is with the local young footballers and their families”.

Tony Bristow, Southdown FC Chairman, is fully supportive of the scheme. “Southdown FC are delighted to be part of this initiative with BHTFC. The links that are now being forged with the grass roots teams will hopefully benefit BHTFC in the coming years, as some of our young players go on to play for BHTFC. Schemes such as this are a great way of demonstrating a willingness to continue and grow the development links that are already in place. I am sure our junior membership will be very excited and keen to become a ‘Junior Hillian’ as an affiliate member of BHTFC and attend as many home games as possible which is great for them and BHTFC as this will hopefully foster the next generation of supporters.”
