Burt to run Shoreham's youngters' side

He will be assisted by Ben Rose and Harry Prodger.

The club said: "Mark Burt brings a wealth of experience and understands the club inside and out, having played and managed the club at senior level.

"This appointment was a no-brainer for the club and having Mark Burt on board will definitely make our county U18s team a strong force to be reckoned with when we start back at pre-season and eventually kick off the new season.

"Mark has already started planning for the coming season with bringing players in from his U16s team he managed last season and some great second-year U18s staying on from the 2019-20 campaign.

“We are very pleased that Mark agreed to take our U18s as we know him well and his experience and knowledge of the club is second to none. This is a very important appointment for our youth set-up and we wish Mark all the best for the coming season."
