City started brightly and had their first chance just two minutes in when Kieran Hartley had a good shot saved well by Jon Hendrick in the Littlehamptonn goal.

Both keepers made a good start and Holden was called into action as he superbly saved an attempt from George Landais which looked destined for the bottom corner.

Littlehampton made the breakthrough when they were awarded a free-kick in the 34th minute. It was taken by Hand and met by Beadle at the near post.

At the other end Hendrick kept his impressive form, by pushing a low Hartley free-kick away from danger.

Not long after the restart, Littlehampton got their second when Landais hit an effort from long range which caught everybody by surprise and went in.

Just minutes later however, Chi were back in it, as Jimmy Wild broke following a long pass forward and beat the impressive Hendrick, giving Chi a lifeline.

They continued to push for the equaliser and came close in the 83rd minute when Ruben French bent a free-kick around the wall, but Hendrick was once again on hand to save. This proved to be the final chance for Chi.
