There will be no admission costs as such for the match on Monday February 3 and instead supporters will be asked to pay what they want.

This one-off move has come about because the Ryman Football League Division One South fixture was abandoned after 61 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch on Monday December 16. United were leading a thoroughly entertaining affair 3-1 at the time, but the controversial abandonment meant the game had to be rearranged.

United director Simon Rudkins said: “We have had to seek approval for this from the Ryman League and our opponents Walton & Hersham. The only expenses we will seek to recover will be paying for match officials and we are looking at recovering Walton’s travel too. So anything extra that supporters pay on the night we would like to donate to St Michael’s Hospice.”
