In the early exchanges the battle was evenly contested, but Colts took the lead on 17 minutes when Sam Jones played in Toby Evans, who dispatched the ball past the Barnham keeper.

One nearly became two when Toby Watkins ghosted in at the back post but his effort was comfortably saved.

Barnham responded in the closing minutes of the first half when Britton played in Brady who slotted past Sam Williams.

The second half was just as even, but Taylor Parker could have snatched a lead for Colts but he mis-hit his effort when set up by Evans with the ball falling into the Barnham keeper’s arms.

A long range effort from Nat White opened the scoring as Bognor reached the Challenge Cup final.

Worthing deservedly equalised after Bognor failed to deal with a loose ball in the penalty area.

After an inspired half-time team talk by coach Paul Selby, Bognor came out strongly. Bruce Eggleton’s free-kick went straight into the top corner.

Bognor were playing very well. A corner from Noah Amoo was finished off by White for his second. Jack Tilbury soon made it 4-1 with a

fine strike.
