Common game postponed

Little Common Football Club’s game at home to Chichester City tonight (Tuesday) has just been postponed.

The Sussex Principal RUR Charity Cup quarter-final has been called-off due to a waterlogged pitch following heavy rainfall this afternoon.

Because this is the second time the match has been postponed, it will now be switched to Chichester’s ground on a date to be announced, presumably in the new year.

The winners of the tie between Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One side Common and Premier Division club Chichester will face Lancing in the semi-finals.

As things stand, Hastings United’s game away to Chipstead in Ryman Football League Division One South is still going ahead. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
