The Sussex Principal RUR Charity Cup quarter-final has been called-off due to an unfit pitch and will be played at a later date.

The playing surface at the Rec was heavily cut up during Saturday’s match against Crawley Down Gatwick in Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One and hasn’t sufficiently recovered.

The winners of the tie between Common and Premier Division side Chichester will face Pagham or Lancing in the semi-finals in the new year.

Hastings United were scheduled to be in Ryman Football League Division One South action tonight at home to Corinthian-Casuals, but that match was called-off because Casuals have an FA Trophy replay having drawn at the weekend.

Hastings are running a coach to their games at Herne Bay this coming Saturday and Worthing next Tuesday night.

The coaches will leave The Pilot Field at 11.30am for Herne Bay and 5.15pm for Worthing. Supporters wishing to reserve a seat should email [email protected] or call/text 07970 332270.
