Common set to light up

Little Common Football Club’s frustrating wait to use its new floodlights finally appears to be over.

The Commoners had been due to host Crowborough Athletic in a midweek game last month, but that never happened as the lights didn’t possess the necessary certification for use in matches.

The lights passed their inspection last night (Wednesday), however, and Common’s match at home to Sussex County Football League Division Two title hopefuls Littlehampton Town on Saturday will kick-off at 3pm.
