Crawley will be looking for their first league win since January 2 when they face a Stevenage side who sit just outside the League Two relegation zone, in 21st spot.

Despite that league position, Yems is prepared for a stern test at home to a side who have had a productive January transfer window:

“It will be a very tough game, they’ve signed a lot of new players, we’ve come back from Covid and everything else we’ve come from, but we’re looking forward to it," said Yems.

Stevenage will be looking to distance themselves from the relegation zone, but Yems insists it’s important his Crawley side target three points tomorrow.

Crawley's recent form has seen them slip to 12th in the table.

“It’s important that we win every game, every game we go to it’s important to win, don’t look at league positions, look at what we want to do. Every team is hard to beat, they’re a professional side, we just want to do what we can do."

The weather has warmed up since the weekend, when much of the League One and League Two programme was frozen off, and there should be no weather threat to this fixture.

“Hopefully the pitch is in good condition, I haven’t seen it but let’s hope so," Yems said.

Yems said he was pleased with how Crawley’s season had gone so far, and hoped his players could rediscover their consistency ahead of a busy schedule:

“We’ve just got to get back to our consistency, and keep doing what we we’re doing. We approach every game the same, we look to win every game, we’ve just got to make sure we keep turning up - that’s what we can do”.
