Fast end to end stuff was the order of the first half with the Anvils more than holding their own against a swift moving Hendon forward line, but generally defences held sway.

The second half was still a cagey affair, but the longer the game went on chances started to appear as both sides went for that vital opening goal and defences were reluctant to give way.

But the gallant Anvils were still fighting hard, but on 75 the Greens finally picked the Anvil lock with sub Jayden Clarke finding the right key, Anvil chins refused to drop, though but on 87 were dealt another blow with Sub Liam Brooks adding further salt into Anvil wounds.

But with just minutes left on the clock Anvils hard work thro out were rewarded thro Ben Chowney rifling home a consolation to give the Greens a few nervous seconds, as no one wants to be involved in those dreaded penalty shoot outs.
