And who does Yems want to face? He said: "I don’t give a monkeys. Barrow is a long old trip.

"But it’s the FA Cup but quite honestly I won’t get over tonight [defeat to Grimsby] until about Thursday, Friday because it hurts me. Let’s hope it hurts a few other people."

The difference between the two possible ties couldn't be more different - either a 600 mile round rip to Barrow or half an hour up the road to Plough Lane.

But Yems said maybe a trip to Barrow is what the players need. He said: "It’s the FA Cup, if you are going to win things you have got to make sure you go and do it. If that’s what it draws [Barrow] that’s what it draws.

"Maybe we need a 600 mile trip. Pity there’s not flights to Majorca because I feel like going out there now."

And although a glamour tie is the incentive, Yems said: "It's a great opportunity for every club, not just us. We are not putting pressure on ourselves just to get into the next round.

"We are trying to win every game, whoever it is against, although you wouldn’t thin so after tonight."
