Crawley Town boss John Yems' plan on how to get the season finished

John Yems has suggested a plan to the League Managers’ Association on how to get games played to finished the season.

The EFL is yet to resolve how and when the season will finish. But Yems has a plan that is just ‘like the old days’.

He said: “I made the suggestionjs to the LMA that if we have to play night games that would suit us. “By that I mean if we have to get on a coach at 9am and go to Morecambe and play a game then so be it.

'I've got an idea' - Crawley Town boss John Yems

“They will say ‘you still need hotels etc’ but no, let’s just get the games out of the way.

“Like the old days, you leave at 9am, you get to the ground, play the game then you come home. It’s not perfect but the world isn’t perfect at the moment.”
