BetVictor put Adams and Yates as favourite for Reds job

The gamble developed shortly after Adams confirmed he had indeed sent off his application and after being backed at 33s, the gamble gathered pace with the former Leicester, Coventry and Brighton manager backed into 3/1 favourite, before being eased out to 6/1 thereafter with a late move for Mark Yates.

Yates was installed as a 25/1 chance originally with BetVictor when betting first began, however, there was sustained support on Thursday morning and the former Cheltenham boss is now the 6/1 joint-favourite alongside Micky Adams to be the Reds’ next permanent manager with BetVictor.
