Manager Richie Barker said: “We used Oakwood a fair bit last season. The pitches are well maintained which is absolutely vital for the type of work

“We are looking forward to going there for the start of pre-season on June 26 and to playing Oakwood in our opening friendly. We will be playing a strong side as it’s our first competitive game and I’m sure as it is very local that our fans will turn out in force to watch us.”

The club’s Academy, Academy Preparation Centre and College scheme squads will use the club’s existing training base at Bewbush while under-18 Youth Alliance fixtures will be staged either at Bewbush or Oakwood.

Chief executive Richard Low said: “Crawley Borough Council (CBC) have kindly allowed us to locate our new youth set-up at Bewbush and we are extremely grateful for their co-operation in this.
