Many fans had already made their way to the Wiltshire ground to watch the game.

The terrible New Year’s Day weather accounted for the postponement of nearly all Ryman League matches as Three Bridges’ home game against top of the table Peacehaven and Horsham’s visit to Worthing were called off following pitch inspections this morning.

The only game to survive the weather is Crawley Down Gatwick’s visit to Guernsey.

The pitch has been declared playable by the Channel Islands club and kick-off will be at 7pm.

This was put back from the scheduled time of 4pm due to Crawley Down Gatwick’s flight being delayed at Gatwick.
