Ex-Arsenal midfielder Conor Henderson on trial in Inverness

Crawley Town midfielder Conor Henderson has gone on a week’s trial in Scotland.

The former Arsenal player joined Scottish Premier League club Inverness Caledonian Thistle last weekend.

Despite scoring a wondergoal to beat Reading in pre-season, Henderson, 24, has made just three appearances for the Reds this season, including two starts.

Reds boss Mark Yates said: “Conor’s contract is up in January. I have told him he does not figure in my plans at the moment and I want to give him as much opportunity as possible to get himself sorted out.

“We hope it works out well for him up in Scotland.”
