The Reds will be looking to get back to winning ways after picking up a draw and a loss in their last two games.

Despite picking up just one point from a possible six in those two away games Crawley have shown good signs of what a good team they could become.

Against Exeter Crawley created plenty of opportunities and played some great football for 70 minutes but they conceded twice in the final 15 minutes, which gave Exeter all three points.

They also played well at Salford where the Reds deservedly picked up a point and could’ve potentially got all three towards the end of the game as they were pushing for a winner.

John Yems’ side have found themselves in a good place and are starting to gel together and looking like they could become a very strong team this season.

A win at home on Tuesday night could potentially be a huge boost but will have to face a good Tranmere side in order to do so.

Tranmere are back in League Two, following their relegation from League One last season, but haven’t started this campaign as strongly as they would’ve wished.

Rovers have picked up just two wins from their opening eight league games, both of which coming on home soil.

However, it hasn’t been all doom and gloom on the road for Tranmere as they have only lost one away game this season, drawing their other three.

The main reason for Tranmere’s struggles has been a lack of goals, as they have failed to find the net in five of their opening eight league games.

Prolific striker James Vaughan has scored half of Tranmere’s goals this season, with three goals to his name and just six to Tranmere’s.

However, the fact that Tranmere have also kept four clean sheets already this season shows what a strong defensive side they are. Rovers have seen a serious lack of goals in their games, which is a huge contrast to Crawley as they have seen plenty of goals in their games.

For Crawley they will know they have a great chance of winning the game if they manage to break down the stubborn Tranmere defence.

If they can manage to do this and keep the lively Vaughan quiet they’ll put themselves in a fantastic position for picking up all three points at The People’s Pension Stadium, which will give them great momentum going into Saturday’s fixture against high flying Cambridge.
