Brighton completed their first league double over Crystal Palace since the 1983/84 season with a 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
Glenn Murray gave Brighton the lead on 19 minutes but Palace levelled through Luka Milivojevic's penalty early in the second half. Anthony Knockaert got Albion's winner with a stunning strike after 73 minutes. Here's how we rated the players of both teams.
Saved deflected Batshuayi shot early on and pushed away Tomkins' header in the first half. Sent the wrong way from the penalty spot as Miliovjevic equalised. Booked.
Booked for dragging Zaha back midway through the first half. Defended well against Palace's talisman for much of the match.
Sent off in Albion's 3-1 win against Palace in December. Penalty appeals waved away when he went down under Dann challenge. Solid at the back and superb header to clear the danger in injury-time.
Long clearance forward led to Murray putting Brighton ahead after Tomkins' mistake. Outstanding blocks denied Zaha and Batshuayi an equaliser in the first half.
Defended well against Townsend and Wan-Bissaka in the first half. Last-ditch tackle denied Zaha a shooting opportunity. Booked.
Kept things simple in the middle of the park and spread the play well with a couple of lovely long-range passes.
Always in the right place to help out team-mates. Gave away penalty for a trip on Townsend, although the Palace winger went down easily.
Got stuck in early on and received a warning from referee Craig Pawson. Full of running throughout.
Booked for a foul on Miliojevic inside a minute and perhaps fortunate not to see red. Bundles of enthusiasm and scored with a stunning strike into the far top corner. Subbed.
Late replacement for the injured Florin Andone in the starting line-up. Stunning finish to give Albion the lead with a shot across Guaita on 19 minutes. Booked.
Hard-working performance down the left. Long-range shot saved by Guaita early in the second half.
