Date set for senior cup semi

A date has been set for Hastings United’s match against Bognor Regis Town in the Sussex Senior Cup.

The all-Ryman Football League Premier Division semi-final will take place on Wednesday April 3 with a 7.30pm kick-off. The venue is still to be decided, although it’s likely to be Lancing.

The semi-final will be two days after United host league leaders Whitehawk and three before they visit Bognor in the league. Incidentally, the U’s will also face Hendon twice in the space of four days on April 13 and April 16.

The league game away to Bury Town - postponed last weekend because of a waterlogged pitch - has been pencilled in for Tuesday April 23 (four days before the end of the season), but the match at Kingstonian - called-off on Monday due to the snow - has yet to be rearranged.
