Joe Cook is back at Bognor -- and will go straight into the Rocks squad for the Isthmian premier division game at Potters Bar Town tomorrow.

Cook has re-joined the Nyewood Lane outfit from Havant & Waterlooville after a successful loan spell and is joined by another new recruit from the Hawks in the shape of utility man Jake Flannigan, 23.

General manager Simon Cook said: "The club are delighted to welcome Joe back to the club. Joe made a big impact when on loan from Havant & Waterlooville before Christmas and quickly became a firm favourite with the supporters with his strong defensive displays -- as well as showing he could score a goal or two!"

Cook's arrival for his first spell at Bognor coincided with a dramatic upturn in form - while his recall by Havant at Christmas was followed by two home defeats as the Rocks struggled to cover his absence.

Simon Cook added: "Also joining is Jake Flannigan on loan. He plays in midfield but is also capable of playing in defence. He joined Havant in the summer having been released by Southampton where he had spent five years. He did spend a period on loan at Burton Albion last year, playing one first team match for them."

* Bognor's Sussex Senior Cup quarter-final at home to Brighton U23s will take place on Tuesday, February 11 (7.45pm). The sides met at the semi-final stage last season, the Rocks winning 5-1 at Culver Road.
