Despite winning at Herne Bay last weekend, United are 18th in Ryman Football League Division One South.

Di Paola said: “I’m not happy at all. I don’t think we’re playing that well, I’m not happy with some of the performances and some of the players’ performances. I’m not happy with anything really. I expect a lot more.”

United will be aiming to make it back-to-back league wins for only the second time this season when they host Ramsgate - the only team in the division they’ve not yet played - tomorrow (Saturday).

“The players have got to deliver again,” continued Di Paola. “Hopefully now they (the players) can have a little bit of a break and will be a bit fresher for Saturday’s game.”

Steve Brinkhurst, Ashley-Paul Robinson and Jordan Woodley should return after being cup-tied for the Burgess Hill Town game on Monday night, as should Josh Pelling. Tim Olorunda has been nursing an Achilles problem and Ade Olorunda has been battling to shake off a bout of ‘flu.

Eagle-eyed observers might have noticed The Pilot Field pitch has been narrowed slightly. “Our pitch was bigger than the Emirates so we just thought we would turn it into a normal size pitch,” added Di Paola.
