Drummy said: "We've got to get forward and get back to fluent football.

"I can inject my own passion, I'm a believer in driving the players but I like to see the players thinking on the ball."

Drummy acknowledged the team is not the finished article and periods of poor results are inevitable for any manager and side.

He said: "You will get bad runs as a coach and as a team.

"We're not there yet, we know we're not there yet we've got to work and we've got to take the criticism we get on the chin and answer it in the right way."

He would like to see more consistency in the team, having won two and drawn one of their last three away games but having lost five of their last six home matches.

Drummy said: "It's a football pitch, the same size, there's goals, corner flags. Home or away, play! Believe in what you're doing.

"You can set-up tactically against a side but if you're minds are not sharp and if you don't win the balls it doesn't matter if you are playing Australia or on the Moon!"
