East Hoathly FC, after winning the Lewes Sunday League Cameron Cup on Sunday April 28 at Peacehaven, had it all to do again on Sunday May 5 in their last double header game of the season against a very good Stone Cross side that had been second division title front runners all season.
East Hoathly required four points to secure the title and came out eventual winners by just one point with a 1-1 draw and a 2-1 win. The club has been formed for just four years and is made up of local lads from the village and within a five-mile radius. The team are (back l-r) : Allan Marchant, Tom Hewitt, Johnny Harman, Josh Field, Luke West, Dave Keen, Liam Tomsett, Lee Greenland, Kris Robson, Marcus Waters and Luke Bonner.
