Eastbourne Town have mixed start ... Langney unveil new backers
A sun-drenched crowd at Princes Park Oval saw United take a 15th minute lead when, after a Heath set-piece broke down, young striker Panashe Makwiramiti raced clear and drilled his shot under goalkeeper Liam Matthews.
United never looked back from that early breakthrough, and by the half-hour they had doubled the lead with a strike of real quality. Alfie Peacock - just 16 and, like Panashe, on a dual registration with Hastings United, hit the fiercest of volleys for 2-0.

Manager Crabb said: “That was 100% better than our previous game. The players listened to what I said, and some spells of play were absolutely superb.
“The two young lads from Hastings, who hadn’t been signed in time for the FA Cup tie with Horley, made a huge difference and gave us a lot of energy.”
Crabb and his side were left in no doubt of the strength of the league on Tuesday night, travelling to Newhaven and suffering a 5-0 defeat.
