Former Brighton, Celtic and Coventry professional football player Adam Virgo who was once sold for £1.5m and has played over 260 games took a number of training sessions for local club Stone Cross Royals FC throughout November and December for age groups Under 7s to Under 10s.
Darren Bland chairman for Stone Cross Royals said it was a great experience for all including the coaches, boys and girls to not only meet Adam but to actually have him taking the training sessions.
All the kids had an enjoyable time learning different drills and techniques whilst also getting photos and shirts signed by the ex-Brighton and Celtic player.
The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Adam for his time and look forward to continuing the partnership and on-going training sessions in the future months/seasons.
