FA Cup: Rocks head to Maidenhead ... Home tie is incentive for Pagham

The Rocks face a tough assignment if they're to extend this year's FA Cup run.

Their reward for overcoming Epsom and Ewell in the first qualifying round at Nyewood Lane on Saturday is a trip to Conference South outfit Maidenhead.

A flying start to the season has put Maidenhead third in their league - a similar position to the one occupied by Sutton, who beat the Rocks 4-0 in the third qualifying round last year.

The other local side still in the cup are Pagham, who travel to Carshalton in a first qualifying round replay tomorrow (Tuesday) after a creditable 0-0 draw at Nyetimber Lane on Saturday.

The winners of the replay will host Chalfont St Peter, who play in division one central of the Southern League - one level above Sussex first-division side Pagham.

The next round of the Cup takes place on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday 23 - here is the full draw.
